One of the global company’s major divisions, which helped put it on the map, is Emirates Airlines.  Emirates is one of the world’s best airlines, and the largest airline operator in the Middle East. It has an excellent reputation for its extraordinary customer service and top-of-the-line facilities. It takes pride in having one of the youngest fleets in the sky. The average age of its carriers is 80 months, and this is expected to fall further with a fast-expanding fleet. It currently has over 240 latest wide-body aircrafts. It has the customers’ ultimate comfort in mind, being the leading operator of the double-decker Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s. These are the most efficient and most modern wide-body aircrafts in operation today. It currently flies more than 80 A380s and operates three class versions of the ultra-modern Boeing 777: 300, 300ER, and 200LR.  The airline is expecting more aircraft deliveries in the coming months. In fact, its aircraft on order is estimated to be worth over US$ 110 billion.

Emirates Airlines currently flies to more than 150 destinations around the world in over 80 countries. From its home base at Dubai International Airport, it has more than 3,500 flights every week, flying to six continents. The airline has exclusive use of Dubai’s state-of-the-art Terminal 3.

It currently has flights to and from five major Australian cities – Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney. Travellers can fly to Adelaide from 124 destinations worldwide. Travellers can fly Emirates to Brisbane from 130 destinations, and to Melbourne from 125 destinations.  Passengers can travel to Perth from 119 cities and to Sydney from 134 cities. Emirates has a special partnership with Qantas, providing a seamless travel experience with a shared A380 network.  Using one ticket, passengers are able to connect to Australia via Dubai. With a Walkabout Pass, customers can fly to destinations across Australia and New Zealand.

Recipient of more than 500 awards and recognitions worldwide, Emirates is a market leader, paving the way and introducing many firsts in the airline services industry.  It is the first airline to offer mobile phone services to its passengers and it is renowned for having a personal entertainment system in all seats.

Emirates has received worldwide acclaim and recognition, making it one of the most renowned brands in the world. In 2016, the airline received its 12th consecutive honour for best In-flight Entertainment at Skytrax World Airline Awards. It was also voted Best Airline in the World 2017 by leading travel website company TripAdvisor.

Emirates Customer Service

Flying Emirates is always an unforgettable experience.  It offers a remarkable array of services to its customers, which is not found in any other carriers in the world.  It is an incremental step-up from other well-known carriers in the industry. Emirates employs more than 15,000 cabin crew, all working to anticipate customer needs. Emirates customer service is as excellent and well-known as its facilities.

Each flight is equipped with world-class facilities. It is renowned for being a market trailblazer, pioneering personal entertainment systems in all seats, private first first-class suites, and the much talked-about A380 On-board Lounge.

The Emirates experience starts upon check-in. The remarkable A380 hub, found in Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport is the very first concourse service facility in the world. It is especially designed for the airlines’ growing fleet of A380s.  Within the A380 hub, customers get to shop in various high-end outlets and dine in its eclectic selection of casual and fine dining cafes and restaurants. Aside from restaurants offering global cuisine, there are popular outlets such as Costa, Starbucks, Paul, and Häagen-Dazs.

All passengers from First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class are guaranteed an exceptional experience, with comfortable seating and the unrivalled ice inflight entertainment. In 2016, Emirates introduced its new blankets and amenity kits for all its passengers.  First Class and Business Class passengers get lounge wear, blankets, and luxury skin-care products. The airline also provides free Wi-Fi up to 10MB on all A380 and most Boeing 777 aircrafts. Passengers can buy additional 500MB for just US $1, a rate which is considerably cheaper compared to other airline offering the same service. New refreshment areas were also launched in the Dubai Business Class Lounge.

The Emirates inflight entertainment has over 2,500 on-demand channels, offering films, television series, music, and games all on ice Digital Widescreen. News, weather, and sports updates are also available in the ice entertainment system. News updates are regularly updated via satellite from the BBC News website.  News reports from Reuters are also available in various languages, including German, French, and Arabic.

Passengers also get a chance to see where they are on the journey with the moving map, or get a glimpse of the view outside the plane using the external cameras. Passengers can choose from the pilots’ view or the birds’-eye camera.  The A380 double-decker even has a tail fin camera. This gives passengers a remarkable view over the aircraft and through the clouds.

Let’s hear it straight from Emirates customers who gave their stellar reviews on various travel forums.
